THE STORY
I know that lavender offers more to the skin than its calming scent.
To bring more of its natural character into this bar, I create an infused oil by slowly steeping the flowers and the leaves so their oil soluble elements can settle into the oil. This allows the soap to carry more of the plant’s character than fragrance alone can provide.
THE PROCESS
The lavender infused oil is crafted through a slow method that retains the plant’s gentle natural qualities. Coconut milk is blended into the recipe to create a soft creamy lather and the cleansing strength is adjusted so the bar washes the skin without leaving it tight or dry. Every step is done through a low temperature cold process method to keep the qualities of the ingredients as close to their natural state as possible.
THE SCENT
I chose not to add any other essential oils, so the lavender itself can speak quietly in the scent. Its aroma is gentle and creates a slow peaceful moment as the warmth of the shower surrounds you.
THE SKIN FEEL
The lather feels smooth and creamy and it rinses away clean without leaving the skin tight. It gives a calm comfortable finish that feels steady on the skin rather than stripped.
After washing, the skin feels lightly moisturised with a gentle softness that remains for a short while.

We use plants and natural products when crafting our soap and bath salts, such as coffee powder, cacao, honey etc. Essential oil hcan have varying effects, so if you have allergies, are pregnant, or are undergoing treatment, please consult your doctor before using.
All of our soaps are handmade, cut and measuring individually. Although we make each item with care, please note that the size, weight, design, and colour may slightly vary.
Cold processed soap can become soft when stored in a humid place. After use, please store in.a place that allows it to dry, such as a drained soap dish.
