Returns & Refunds policy

Shipping Information:

We ship all orders from Auckland, New Zealand. Orders are usually processed within 2–4 business days.

NZ Domestic Shipping

  • Standard tracked shipping via NZ Post

  • Delivery time: 2–5 business days depending on region

  • Shipping fee: Displayed at checkout

International Shipping:

(Not active yet — can be added later if needed)You are entitled to cancel your order within 30 days without giving any reason for doing so.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email.

Handcrafted Variation Notice:

All soaps are individually handcrafted in small batches.

Because of this: Colour, swirl pattern, and texture will vary from bar to bar, The product you receive will not be identical to the photos. These natural variations are part of the handmade process and are not considered faults or defects If you have questions about a specific product, feel free to contact us before ordering. rgallerysoaps@gmail.com

Returns & Refunds:

We follow the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).

This means you are entitled to a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) if the product is:

  • Faulty or damaged

  • Not as described

  • Unsafe

  • Does not meet reasonable quality expectations

If you believe your product has a defect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with photos and your order number.

We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy under the CGA.

Change of Mind / Personal Preference:

Due to the nature of handmade skincare products, we do not offer refunds or returns for:

  • Change of mind

  • Personal preference regarding scent, colour, pattern, or texture

  • Sensitivities or allergic reactions to natural ingredients (Please check the ingredient list before purchasing.)

These variations do not qualify as faults under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Returns Shipping Costs:

  • If the item is faulty or incorrect → We cover return shipping

  • If the return is due to change of mind (where applicable) → Customer covers shipping

We will provide the return address once the request is approved.

Refund Method:

Refunds (when eligible) will be processed to the original payment method.

Please allow 3–7 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Order Issues & Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of:

  • The packaging

  • The product

  • The shipping label

We will contact the courier on your behalf and arrange a replacement where appropriate.
