THE STORY
I first discovered kawakawa after moving to New Zealand.
Learning how it had been used for generations as a traditional herb made me want to bring its presence into my soaps, so I planted a kawakawa tree in my garden. As someone who experienced eczema for many years, it naturally became one of my favourite herbs.
THE PROCESS
I create an infused oil using kawakawa leaves and incorporate it into the soap. The kawakawa leaves are dried before steeping so the oil can absorb their oil soluble elements more easily and the soap remains stable without oxidising quickly. The bar is made through a cold process method, allowing the ingredients to remain as close to their natural state as possible.
THE SCENT
The essential oil blend is crafted to support the calming and gentle nature that kawakawa is known for. It is designed to leave the skin calm and comfortable, with a scent that is fresh and quietly deep.
THE SKIN FEEL
The lather is rich and smooth, washing the skin clean without leaving it tight. It cleanses effectively without over washing, making it comfortable for all skin types to use every day.

We use plants and natural products when crafting our soap and bath salts, such as coffee powder, cacao, honey etc. Essential oil hcan have varying effects, so if you have allergies, are pregnant, or are undergoing treatment, please consult your doctor before using.
All of our soaps are handmade, cut and measuring individually. Although we make each item with care, please note that the size, weight, design, and colour may slightly vary.
Cold processed soap can become soft when stored in a humid place. After use, please store in.a place that allows it to dry, such as a drained soap dish.
