THE STORY
This bar was first designed after a visit to the beach in Howick.
Its fresh coastal look quickly became popular, and it has remained one of my most repeated soaps.
The sea salt used in this bar is sourced here in New Zealand.
THE PROCESS
Sea salt is added in a balanced amount so it does not feel too strong on the skin. Using salt helps the bar become firmer than a standard cold process soap, which many people prefer when they do not want a bar that melts easily in the shower. The recipe is created to give a clean and refreshing wash, and shea butter is added to maintain comfort so the skin does not feel overly dry.
THE SCENT
It has a fresh citrus and mint aroma that feels bright and lively.
People who try it at the market often enjoy both the scent and the beach inspired design.
THE SKIN FEEL
The wash feels clean and refreshing, and the sandy part of the bar contains ground coffee and oats that provide a gentle scrub. Together with the sea salt, the bar leaves the skin feeling smooth and polished.Suitable for normal to oily skin.

We use plants and natural products when crafting our soap and bath salts, such as coffee powder, cacao, honey etc. Essential oil hcan have varying effects, so if you have allergies, are pregnant, or are undergoing treatment, please consult your doctor before using.
All of our soaps are handmade, cut and measuring individually. Although we make each item with care, please note that the size, weight, design, and colour may slightly vary.
Cold processed soap can become soft when stored in a humid place. After use, please store in.a place that allows it to dry, such as a drained soap dish.
